Kingsbridge (1 mile)

Seven Stars –
Pub and restaurant dining, suitable for all, with a large outdoor seating area, and food served all day

Creeks End –
Family friendly atmosphere on the quayside, with large outdoor seating area, serving every days meals, along with a Carvery on Sundays, also good for watching major sporting events on their large screen TV

The Crabshell –
Situated alongside the estuary, large outdoor seating area to watch the paddle boarders, family friendly with meals and pizzas served all day

The Old
The Old Bakery offers modern Mediterranean and Middle Eastern dishes in a sharing style. Our extensive menu includes many vegetarian, vegan and gluten free dishes.

Award winning fine dining at it is best! Fresh local produce, skilfully prepared and served in a relaxed vibrant environment. Quality is key, Jamie only sources and cooks with the best produce from nature’s larder. This is certainly best saved for a special occasion!

The Old Warehouse – 
A menu with a little difference utilising the best of fresh local ingredients, along with its one micro brewery and a large selection of craft beers and mead.

The Dodbrooke Inn
Sadly no car parking, but excellent steaks and fish n chips (take away available)

The town also has many independent small cafes, ideal for a quick lunchtime bite, or for a brew of coffee and a slice of home-made cake

Churchstow (1 mile)

The Church House Inn –
This is our nearest pub, but there is no footpath or verge for walking, so biking, driving or a taxi is recommended.

Loddiswell (2 miles)

Aune Valley Cafe –
Valley View Cafe is run by local couple Amy and Richard, they pride themselves in providing a home cooked, fresh and tasty menu all using local, doorstop produce from the farm shop next door; Aune Valley Meat. An ideal place for a real cooked breakfast.

Avon Mill Garden Centre –
Garden centre set by the River Avon, with lovely little cafe serving fresh dishes of the day, and home-made cakes

Aveton Gifford (3 miles)

Fishermans Rest –
Old fashioned village pub serving home-cooked and classic pub meals

Bantham (4 miles)

The Sloop Inn –
Located in the heart of the ‘surfing’ village just a stones throw from the beach…

The Gastrobus –
Set near the beach, ideal for a cold drink, cup of coffee and slice of cake, pasty or a gourmet burger…

Estuary View Cafe –
Small cafe with panoramic view of Bigbury and the Avon Estuary. Ideal stop for breakfast, a light lunch or coffee and cake!

Thurlestone (5 miles)

Thurlestone Hotel –
Four star hotel invites you for morning coffee, lunch on the terrace, afternoon tea in the lounge, or fine dining it its award winning Restaurant

The Village Inn –
The traditional locals pub which is part of the four star hotel offers you a mix of restaurant dining, along with a traditional upmarket pub menu, complete with log fires

Beach House –
Situated on South Milton Sands with stunning views, well known for their seafood platters which of course include local crab and lobster

Chillington (6 miles)

Bear and Blacksmith –
A friendly, warm welcome along with a menu produced for homegrown and locally produced fish produce – it’s much more than pub food!

Church House Inn –
A picturesque pub serving modern and creative British classics.

Hope Cove (7 miles)

Hope & Anchor –
Situated in the picturesque old fishing village, the pub offers log fires for cooler days, and large sun terraces for warmer months…locally sourced pub and restaurant food available (please note they do not take table reservations).

The Cove –
Beach style cafe bar situated in the heart of the village, open all day with a varied menu

Cottage Hotel –
Situated on the hillside with stunning views, treat yourself to lunch in the bar, or an old fashioned afternoon in the lounge, evening dinner in the traditional restaurant also available, and of course Sunday Lunch.

Lobster Pod Bistro –
Overlooking the harbour and beach you can enjoy indoor and outdoor seating. The menu offers a selection for all including their famous lobster platter

Salcombe (8 miles)

Dick and Wills –
Waterside bar and brasserie, boutique wines and seasonal menus

Crab Shed –
Quayside seafood restaurant – you won’t find fresher fish or shellfish

The Victoria –
Situated in the centre of town, offering a selection of traditional pub meals during the day, and fine dining for dinner.

Thatched pub on the sea front, famous for its ‘fish and chips’
