A seasonal pitch at Parkland offers you the ideal base to explore and enjoy all that this area of outstanding natural beauty within South Devon has to offer, whether its just for weekends or the whole summer.

Your caravan will be sited on a generous level, gravel based standard super pitch with 16amp electric hook-up, mains water supply and full mains drainage for grey and black waste.

The fully serviced super pitches are suitable for a twin axle caravan (up to 26ft) with a pitching area for an awning, and parking for one vehicle
Each pitch has metered electric, you have an allowance with your package, after this any usage is chargeable
And of course as a seasonal pitch customer, the on-site amenities are available for your convenience and comfort
With a seasonal pitch you can save on your fuel costs, save on your travelling time and your set up time – just arrive, sit back, relax and enjoy!!

We offer different types of seasonal pitches:

Summer seasonal – your caravan is sited from April to October only
Summer seasonal plus winter storage – your caravan is sited from April to October, then winter stored from November to March
All year seasonal – your caravan is sited for 12 months
New for 2023 – All year or summer seasonal with private facilities

Please note each seasonal package includes a maximum nights usage during your contract period.

New for 2023 our seasonal pitch customers can enjoy complimentary use of the Dartmouth Hotel Spa. The spa includes indoor swimming pool, jacuzzi, steam room, sauna and gym. With the complimentary day pass you will also receive a 10% discount off treatments and 15% discount off food and drink in their bar and restaurant. The Dartmouth Spa is a 15 minute drive (8.5 miles) from Parkland. Please note that complimentary spa passes are subject to availability on the day.

Your pitch is for one caravan or motorhome, with an awning (limited months) and one car
All occupants must be aged 18 and over
Full use of site facilities (please visit our facilities page)
Your package includes limited nights use
Electric is metered and chargeable, but you will receive a generous allowance within your package period
Your caravan must be insured.
Your caravan must have up to date service, gas and electrical certificates
Your caravan must be road legal at all times.
Please remember that you must notify us of your arrival on site and on departure
Please remember the site barrier is closed between the hours of 11.30pm and 6.45am
Please note we are a non dog site

The payment of your seasonal pitch is to be made in full prior to the commencement date of your contract or by prior arrangement in certain circumstances the cost of the seasonal pitch can be made in instalments as agreed in your signed contract.

Our seasonal pitches are not for residential use. Your package will include a limited number of nights. No sub-letting. You may allow family and friends to use your caravan in your absence (by prior arrangement), but our normal site fees will be applicable. All occupants must be aged 18 and over.

Your caravan must be road legal at all times, this includes your tyres, brakes, lights, hitches and locks. You will be responsible for any expenses incurred by Parkland in making your caravan road legal. A relevant copy of your certificates of servicing and gas safety/electrical checks must be supplied.

Your caravan must be kept in a clean and structurally sound condition at all time. Please do not use the underneath of your caravan as storage area when not in use. You are welcome to have one small storage box to the rear or side of your caravan, this must be in good condition and be within your pitching area.

Please do not use normal domestic appliances in your caravan or awning such as fridges/freezers/washing machines.

All caravans and contents are left at the owners risk. Parkland accepts no responsibility for injury, inconvenience, loss or damage to persons or property or the ability to use your property in the event of government enforced restrictions or ‘force majeure’ events. Should the site be forced to close there will be no recompense.

A full set of keys (doors/alarms/hitch locks etc) must be left at Parkland, this is to ensure your caravan can be moved safely, or in-case you forget yours.

Please note that Parkland does not allow dogs on site, this includes all day visitors.

Please note that restrictions apply to certain makes and ages of caravans.

On departing from your stay please ensure that your electric is disconnected and the lead is out of the way for grass cutting and your gas is turned off. You must not have more than two gas bottles with your unit and these must fit securely within your gas locker.

Should the ownership of your caravan change within the contract period all remaining fees must be settled and the unit removed from site, your pitch contract is not transferable to any other party.

You are responsible for informing us of any changes to your contact details or caravan information.

Parkland reserves the right to amend/change terms/facilities at any time without prior notice.
