Camping and Touring
Parkland offers you a selection of grass, standard, premier and deluxe fully serviced super pitches.
The site has a large, wide entrance for easy access and we offer our pitches for tents, trailer tents, caravans, camper vans and motorhomes, including RV’s up to 13 metres.
The fully serviced individual grass pitches are located within our camping ‘paddock’. Each pitch is approximately 9m x 9m, backed by natural hedgerow and sided with lollipop fencing with colourful planting. These pitches all have 16amp electric hook-up, mains water tap, grey waste drainage and your own picnic bench.
The standard super pitches provide you with a gravel base (12m x 5m) for your unit and a grass area (up to 3m), 16amp electric hook-up, mains water point and full drainage for grey and black waste and a traditional picnic bench.
The premier pitches provide you with a gravel base (12m x 5m) for your unit and a grass area (up to 3m), 16amp electric hook-up, mains water point and full drainage for grey and black waste, and a traditional picnic bench. These two pitches have their own amenities adjacent to the pitch. You will have your own toilet, washbasin and walk in shower.
The larger deluxe pitches all have access to private facilities. Each pitch has a large gravel base ideal for a caravan or motorhome (up to 8 metres) or use the grass area for a tent (only one unit per pitch). Your pitch will have 16amp electric hook-up, mains water point and full main drainage for grey/black waste. A garden area, picnic table and washing line.
Our deluxe pitches give you access to your own private washroom and complimentary use of the shared utility room. The utility room is only available to the three deluxe pitches and includes a dishwashing sink, dishwasher, washer-dryer, fridge freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster and iron and board. There are then three individual washrooms, you will be allocated your own washroom (keys provided on arrival). Two of the private washrooms have a large walk-in shower, hand basin and WC. The third washroom has a bath and a walk in shower, along with hand basin and WC – this facility must be requested at the time of booking (subject to availability). These amenities are serviced for you on a daily basis.
The site can also accommodate (by prior arrangement) RV’s up to 13 metres on selected standard gravel pitches.
We request that all awnings, canopies, extensions and guy ropes must be within your allocated pitching area.
Parking is available for one car on each pitch, additional cars, boats or trailers may be accommodated on site by prior arrangement (additional fees may apply).
As noted all the pitches have 16 amp electric hook-ups which are tested annually and approved by NICEIC. For pitches with 16amp electric hook-up you must have your own appropriate leads/connections. All caravans must have a current gas/electric safety certificate.
